Help with PDF

I have done some word processing for work and I want to save it as a PDF (Adobe Acrobat). How do I do this?

Seem to be plenty of progs available above - don't know how good they are as I use Acrobat.

before you can do this. The professional solution is Adobe Acrobat, but it's expensive at $449, and unless you are going to be making PDF files a lot there's no point in spending that kind of money.

Go for one of the low-cost solutions like Jaws pdf which costs £52.67 + VAT. You can download it if you

If it's a Word doc,just click the Adobe icon on the toolbar and select convert to PDF.

If you have acrobat (and not just the reader) you may have a pdf toolbar in your wordprocessing programme (is it MS Word?) - have a look under view, toolbars. On this toolbar you should have pdf maker. click it and you will convert your document.

Or right click the unopened document in My documents (or whereever) and click convert to pdf on the menu.

When Acrobat is installed it also installs itself as another Printer (Acrobat Distiller).......... Your document is then saved as a .pdf file by the print routine which choosing Distiller as the printer.
