hi,im lookint o get another 1gb stick fo ram for my intel dual core computer.im lucky and it was only fitted with 1gb stick isntead of 2 512mb'si had a look at the ram already in my computer, and it says its ddr2 - PC4200u 533mhzive seen lots of ram on ebay with PC4200 but not PC4200u...will the pc4200 work in it?thanks
thanks for that, from what it tells me, it look like the 4200 bit is just the speed, so is it important i get a matching speed ram?the scanner said i ahve a PC2-4100 installed already, but on the label is says its a 4200, does this make any difference?thanks
anyone? i would apreciate a quick reply as i am lookign to buy ram today.thanks
Go with Crucial recommendation - it will be fine.
The new RAM will run at the same speed as the slower of the two. So go for the Cheapest matching choice
