help needed warning on startup !

Hello all
Please can someone help
I have AVG and windows defender running on my pc windows xp
2 days ago win, defender found a virus I think?
So done many many scans can`t get rid of it so I now have spyware terminator
Running and spybot
Scan after scan only windows defender finds it my other programs don`t !!!
When I start my computer this is the message I get

WARNING REVIEW HARMFUL OR POTENTIALLY UNWANTED SOFTWARE
WINDOWS DEFENDER DETECTED PROGRAMS THAT MIGHT COMPROMISE YOUR PRIVACY OR DAMAGE YOU COMPUTER

PWS:WIN32/DAURSO.A

Windows defender removes the threat but every time i restart my pc it comes back
Can any help please

It's rated as severe, and with no obvious symptoms. Looks to steal data from FTP sites.

Switch off system restore
run the scanner to delete the problem
reboot the machine
rescan to check the problem is still gone
switch system restore back on.

hello
many scans later
and i now have avast
that makes 4 programs i now have on my pc is that ok ?
i have not seen that message since but how do i know that it is gone or hiding someware ?

You really should only have
1 firewall
1 antivirus (AVast or AVG)because
2 AVs will conflict and find each others virus lists and give you false positives.

but as much malware scanners as you like as long as they are not running in realtime
1 realtime scanner
1 backup scanner
and a blocker is always good (spywareBlaster)
