Help needed choosing a decent PCI Express GC

  erkmatrix 11:19 12 Aug 2006

Hi I'm struggling to know what best to buy with a budget of £100 for a new PCI express Graphics Card

I've just bought a new PC from PC specialist and was going to use my old ATI radeon 9500 graphics card but I won't be able to will I if the mother board says PCI express. Am I right in thinking that it says its a ASUS A8N-VM: DUAL DDR, SATA II, x16 slot, 2 PCI ETC motherboard.

Could anyone recommend a decent card for my budget that would work with games but I obviously know it won't play the flashy graphics games for that price.

Also what store to buy from that do good deals.

Thanks alot

Yep, you need a pci-express card.

Geforce ( nVidia ) - 7600 - PCI-Express, click here

If you can stretch your budget to £143.00 Inc VAT this card is excellent value and is great for games (a friend has one), Sapphire Radeon X1900 GT PCI-E , at click here.

All links go to Scan (I use them a lot) pages.

Hope this helps.
