Help with my form please :-)

Hello forum,

This is my first attempt at a form by the way and it displays correctly and allows the user to enter the info I need.

However when the user clicks the 'submit' button it opens up the 'internet conection wizard' thing after the usual 'information you send over the internet blah blah blah' thing.

Why is it doing this?

The HTML code I am using is as follows...if I am going wrong somewhere any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

FORM METHOD="POST" ACTION="mailto:myemailaddress"
ENCTYPE="application/x-www-form-urlencoded">

TR>
TD ALIGN="RIGHT" VALIGN="MIDDLE">Name
TD ALIGN="LEFT">
INPUT TYPE="text" NAME="name" VALUE=""

It does that because you have configured the form to send its values to their e-mail client, which they then use to send the completed e-mail. So all that they are doing is filling in your form, then having to send an e-mail, albeit already completed for them.

You need to create a PHP file (see my recent threads on this subject) and set your action to the name of that file.
