help with microsoft word 2000

Hi, I have inseted some images into the above, and i want to type to the right of the image, there is enough room, but no way can i get the cursor onto the top right corner of the image, to start typing..it jumps to a new line underneath the image.......thanks

Create a table of one row and two columns. Place the picture in the left column and you will be able to type whatever you want in the RHS one.

You can make the box frame invisible from the Table Properties dropdown.

Or right click the picture, Format Picture, Layout tab, tick behind text. You should now be able to tab to the right of the picture and add text.

Which method did you choose?

VoG™'s method is the "correct" one. Mine is the one we use on complex layouts as it's easier to manipulate multiple graphics inside tables and tables within tables etc.

hi, trying to get to grips with VOG's method, but it is not easy, must be my old brain cell, they have been rattling around in my head for almost 70 years, but i will get there..
