I have just changed my internet provider FROM Freeserve but I still seem to have ".... provided by Freeserve" at the top of my screen on whichever page I am looking at!! This modern technology is all a bit too much for me! HELP!
if it says internet explorer provided by freeserve .dont worry its only the browser.not your conection
With IE closed type or paste rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear into your run box.
'rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear' The bit inside the quote marks into Run.
Go to Start, choose Run, and type "rundll32 iedkcs32.dll,Clear" without the quotes. Then click enter. This will remove the freeserve branding.
NB: you have to enter the command exactly as written above, it is case-sensitive.
Thanks guys, ditched Freeserve for good now! They were O.K. I suppose just not my type in the end!!!!Vonnie
