I've just intalled a new program, and it has been added to my start up folder to launch when I start windows. I don't actualy need this to start on launch, is ther a way to remove it from start up (but not remove the program).
Open the startup folder via windows explorer and delete the shortcut that is there.
click here for a useful program to decide what else starts up.
Start - Run -MSCONFIG - Startup Tab - and then 'untick' programs you don't want to start
You'll probably require a reboot to enable Sethhaniel's quite correct guidance.
