Is some of your RAM shared with onboard graphics?

  leeknight67 20:54 11 May 2005

yes it comes up with 192mb ram avalable

  Cuddles 20:57 11 May 2005

So you do not have 256mb of ram then.

i dont know on the box it says ive got 256mbram. is there anyway i cant trick the programme into thinking i have the full amount?

Even if you could (and I don't actually know of a method) - why would you think it'll run, if the game mfr says it needs more?

Not really; min specs really are bare minimums and another 256 would be necessary for a decent performance.

Add to that the fact that you have shared graphics and you will have difficulties.

You do have 256 mb of RAM as the box says. Only 64mb is given over to graphics. That's hard to hear if you spent two days downloading a game demo, but there is no way around it.

Do you have a CD writer? USB hard drive? Direct cable connection?
