  frior-one 09:13 30 Jan 2003

Your urgent help is required-I am running windows ME. 256mb memory. norton av 2002 up to date. full scan has been run. no virus found. when running word 2000 system gets "dangerously low in resources". have uninstalled and re-installed. same problem. other programs ok excel, access etc.
could there be a prob with registry? where do i look? what should i try next? have also tried "repair" option during installation.
also this morning when using dial-up connection, system re-booted its self.

Many problems in word are caused by corrupt templates.

Find your file, rename it to and then start word, if the problem persists post back.

problem sorted. is there nothing this formum can't about i have some jelly and what to nail it to the ceiling?

Use a large washer with the nail. If the hole in the washer allows the nail head to fit through, use a couple of smaller washers until it holds.
