Hi all, l ma newbie here.
l want to add some more memory to my pc. This is what l have already.
l am not sure on the Motherboard/chipset model. This is what l have written down.
Intel Pentium 4 2.667GHz Socket 478 512KB 533FSB
Gigabyte 8ST800 socket 478 DDR333 HTT Mainboard
P4 series Motherboard GA-8ST800. Memory is 512MB DDR PC2100 ram 266 MHz.
l would like to add another 512 ram, but l don't know what to buy, the best place to get it from and would it be easy for me to install. Any help would be great.

Thanks in advance

click here

If you go to the above site, Crucial.com/uk, about halfway down the page, on the righthand side, there is a 'scan my system' button, use this to find out what you need.

As many will testify, Crucial is an excellent company.

The blurb from the site;

Not Sure Which Memory Upgrade You Need?
Want to eliminate the hassle and risk of getting the wrong memory—guaranteed, or your money back?

Select your computer's manufacturer, product line, and model in the Crucial Memory Advisor tool.

If you don't know these details about your computer, try the Crucial System Scanner below to find the recommended upgrade automatically.

Hope this helps.
