Help with Find/Replace

  steviegee 10:30 30 Jan 2008

On a spreadsheet I am highlighting a column and using find/replace to replace . with a space. Trouble is it removes them from other columns too, how do I do it so it just removes from that column on the spreadsheet? Thanks.

I've tried this and it only replaces them in the selected column (as it should).

Its not working for me. I highlight K and it removes from I also!

If you're using Microsoft Excel, try going to Help > Detect and Repair.

Done that but its still doing it.

The only way I can get this to happen is when find and replace is open, clicking on options and selecting workbook instead of sheet. Check that you have sheet selected.
