Hi All,

I need to find out what the fastest processor my motherboard can handle is? How would I go about doing this. Is there a utility for finding out the name/type of mobo that I have.

Thanks

D.

Hi have d/l belarc and run it.

Here are the results

Processor a

1600 megahertz AMD Athlon XP
128 kilobyte primary memory cache
256 kilobyte secondary memory cache

Main Circuit Board b

Bus Clock: 66 megahertz

for you.

If you put that mobo ID into click here it looks like it is an ECS mobo.

Put if you put M810LR into google looks like tohe mobo is a PCHIPS mobo.

Oh, very suprised that those two programs didnt identify the name of the mobo.

You could take the cover off your computer and have a peek, see if theres a manufactures name etc. That would help.
