Help! Cable confusion!

  NJC 12:43 01 Oct 2006

I have just bought a wireless router and have a basic problem. I understand that my phone point must connect to my broadband modem which will connect to my router which will wirelessly connect to my PC. However I cannot seem to connect my broadband modem to my wireless router as the output for the modem is USB yet the wireless router has nothing but network ports. As both the modem and the wireless router are industry standard I can only assume I am being really dumb somehow?

If you are using ADSL broadband via the phone line (as opposed to NTL/Telewest Cable), you need to use a combined "Wireless Router & ADSL Modem" which replaces the USB modem.

If you have a "Cable/DSL" router, this is the wrong product.
