Help building my PC

I'm new to all this building a computer from scratch malarkey and need some help. I'm planning on building a gaming machine that is capable of running the latest games (not exactly to highest settings). So far i have decided on what components to buy and need some help on what case to buy, and what cooling components i will need.

Here is my build so far:

Processor-Intel Core 2 Duo E6750 £120

Motherboard-ASUS P5KC AiLifestyle Series iP35 Socket 775 8 channel audio ATX £70

Ram-2GB £30

Graphics Card-ATI Radeon HD3850 512MB PCIE £100

Hard Drive-160GB £30

DVD Drive-£16

OS-£50

All in all this comes to around £420, and i have a top budget of £500 (hopeing to keep it lower if possible)

So the big question is, what case and cooling components, and any other equiptment would be suitable for this build, that would keep it all under budget in whole?

Many Thanks

if you have room it is best to get a large case as they are better for airflow and it makes it easy to to fit components.

Funny you just posted that;
Ive looking round and comparing the ATI Radeon HD3850 512MB PCIE v Geforce 8600GT,seems like the ATI card walks all over the 8600GT,this surprised me,though my knowledge of graphic cards is limited.

yes the 3850 looks promising, anyway back to my initial question. Any other cheaper alternatives?

Ok, so you have all given me some good ideas. One last question, which is the cheapest site or sites to buy from?
