Help with Adware

  GingeMonkey 13:18 26 Dec 2004

I have a problem with various Adware on my computer. After carring out a virus scan using Norton it comes up with any number (can't remember exactly) of files at risk and they are all Adware, but the software will not delete these files. Is there anything I can do to get rid of these files as they are causing my computer to carry out spurious actions like trying to launch internet explorer, or Norton will open now and then telling me its scanning files.

Yes, uninstall everything Norton on your computer and get yourself:

Adaware, Spybot, AVG and Spywareblaster. All of these are free downloads.

Adaware, Spybot and Spywareblaster are on the links above. AVG can be downloaded free from click here
