High Guys, I would like to know how difficult it would be to insert an internal wi-fi card into my laptop, does it fit under anywhere easy to access or as someone has told me the case has to be cracked open. The later seems a little bit drastic.
It is the TravelMate 2700 and yes I do have a slot for a card but as I have stated, the pc is continualy being moved and there is a danger that the bit that sticks out will be damaged, thats why I would like to fit an internal one.
Acer laptops are pretty well designed, there is a large panel underneath which will house the memory, processor etc, there will be a slot for a wifi card or whatever. taking the bottom cover off can be a bit dawnting but i have supplied and upgraded numberous Acer laptops and they are great to work with, just get the right sized screwdriver and don't damage the heads.
