HEELP!!

I have Windows XP Media Edition and my computer is relatively new using the new duo core processors. The computer keeps on crashing and we don't know the problem, according to the PC it could be anything. what should I do?

When it crashes, do you get any message on the screeen?

If it auto restarts upon bootking,

Auto Reboot On System Crash
"Open System Properties via Start >

Control Panel >

Performance and Maintenance >

System

[ System Properties may also be opened using the WinKey+Pause key combination ]

Select the Advanced tab and then click Settings in the Startup and Recovery section


In System Failure section, clear the checkbox next to Automatically Restart

Click OK and OK to exit

Some more system info would help, RAM, Drives, PSU rating etc. Could be that the PSU wattage is not high enough for the system.
