Headers & Footers

Hello friends. I am creating a word document in which I want the title to appear as a header on all pages except the cover page. Also, I want the version number, date and page number (Page X of Y)to appear in the footer on all pages except the cover page.
Fortunately, I have managed to do everything except one: To have this information on all pages except the cover page. How do I do that?
My pc runs on Win XP Pro. Thanks in advance.

I would insert a section break at the end of whatever is on page 1 (Insert > Break, Section Break, Next Page). Then create your header and footer on page 2, make sure 'Same as previous' is not selected then delete them from page 1.

I found it best to go through it all. The part you want is in Beyond the basics.
