HDMI to VGA help

  stannerz 09:47 25 Oct 2009

I have just had sky HD installed and this connects to my TV via HDMI.

I have a HTPC running an abit IL-90mv motherboard and had connected my TV (sony LCD KDL-U2000) via the 1 HDMI port on the TV.

The TV also has a VGA connection and I want to swap the HTPC to connect to the TV via the VGA but I cannot get the TV and PC to connect, the screen simply says "out of range".

The intel graphic accelerator has this information below, yet I cannnot find where or how to change this to VGA.
