hdd problem

installed a new hdd and set up a partition and ive forgot how tyo setup and im sure after setting the format c: what next? please help me

Is this a brand new hard disk into a system, in place of the original - or a second hard drive to give moer storage - or a new hard drive but you want to transfer everything to if from the old hard drive.

There are different things to do and ways of doing them.

old disk ive wiped it and ive put a partition on it and my mind went blanc to continue

The the next step is to format it. You'll need the floppy that you used to set up a partition, then you run

format c:

I can't quite remember if the ME CD has the format program on it too. It may do.

It's a long time .... ;-))

After formatting, you run the setup program from the CD.

I'm pretty sure ME doesn't involve anything more complicated.

Do you have all the drivers for you various bits of hardware - motherboard, graphics card, modems, etc etc - and peripherals. You'll need all those after the installation.
