My documents folder click here
docs and picture just drag and drop with explorer

Applications are much harder better to uninstall and reinstall onto the other drive.

Data files (ie docs, music, etc) - you can just drag and drop.

If you want to relocate My Documents onto the D drive (this is helpful, as they will then all get stored automatically on the D drive).

Right click on the My Documents folder on the desktop, and select Properties

Click the Move button

Specify the new folder you want to make on the D drive. Then click OK.

All the contents of My Documents will be relocated to the new place, and the My Documents link on the desktop will point to them automatically.

If you don't want programs to install on C: you should choose the "Custom Setup" and then you will get the chance to change the installation drive and folder.
