Do you have another bootable drive and is the jumper on it set to 'Master?

Does the other drive have an OS installed?

This is the document with jumper settings click here

Why do you want to set it as slave? is it an extra harddrive?

PC will not boot from a slave drive, it boots from the master Harddrive that contains the Operating System on C: partition.

A slave HDD is fitted as an extra HDD for storage.
