Have you pre-registered your .eu domain name yet?

On 7th April the official high-level European domain name suffix - .eu - will launch. This suffix is going to be operated by the European Commission, and is going to be a must-have for businesses with a European presence. You can pre-register now,so you'll be sure to get your chosen name when registration opens.

- haven't a clue what I'll do with it yet though!

Hmmmnnnn.

The company I work for have had an .eu suffix for two years now. click here

Have I missed something?

maybe that's not the same as just .eu?

No.

I'm not sure that it would benefit me either. I have the .co.uk and .com domains, and I don't have any clients from mainland Europe. Not yet anyway.

How do I go about rep-registering a .eu name?

.eu.com has been available for a long time - we're talking about plain .eu
