Hardware Failure

Can anyone help, I keep getting a message saying my machine has recoverd from an 'unrecoverable hardware failure'. the error message is
Bc code:Bc p1:00000000, BCp2:8054DA70, Bcp3:C4454000, Bcp4:00000136, osver:5.1.2600, Sp2_0, Product:256_1
This problem only happens when there is a high load on the cpu- video encoding, graphic intensive games, editing large images.
I have changed the memory ([email protected])but this made no difference, has anyone any idea on the fault codes, I've checked the AMD site for them but had no luck.
Pc SPec:Gigabyte GA-7VT600 1394 mobo, AMD xp3200, 1Gig fsb400dimms(2*512) nvidia gforce440 mx 64mb graphics card, sb live 5.1 soundcard

Or something else entirely - it's pretty difficult to track down these complex error codes.

Does this cause a stop - a blue screen, or a restart?

Not sure myself Arv, having a look for similar problem on Overclockers did bring up a result of the same codes and a link to Microsoft Knowledge base article on same. click here Have a look here and see if it helps, please let us know if not, maybe one of the other forum members might have more experience with this.

This always causes a restart, always with the same code.
I have been on the knowledge base page you mention and have checked the ratingof my power supply - 400watt peak 340watt nominal, my next step may be to get a 'real' 400watt supply to make sure that there are no problems in that area, power rail fluctuations caused by an overstretched power supply

Hi all finally resolved the problem, after changing the memory, the grapics card, the power supply(650watt model installed), and the motherboard, it was a faulty cpu.
