Hello.I have an old XP Pc which I'm giving to a friend. The OS is partitioned on the HD,and is accessed by a boot floppy. If the HD does not fail, then no problems. But if it does(5 years old),I would like to create a backup image and reinstall on to the new drive.I use ACRONIS myself, and the cd is bootable. But what free software is available to create an image ,and can the image it creates be re-installed on the new drive?.Thank you.
