hi i am thinking of fitting a larger sata internal hard drive pc spec is 3.2 amd processor,3gig of ram wxp corsair 400watt power supply (have 5 of these in other pc's)appart from capacity what other advantages. 2 hard dives i have looked at are 1) Western Digital Caviar Blue 500GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive SATAII 300MB/s 8.9ms 7200rpm - OEM 2) Western Digital Caviar Blue 320GB 16MB Cache Hard Drive SATAII 300MB/s 8.9ms 7200rpm - OEM

No other advantage - they are otherwise the same.

Power usage difference between the two will be negligible if non existent.

It may cost a little bit more but have a look at the Western Digital Caviar Black 500GB - it has 32MB Cache.

Above comes with 5 year warranty so should be worth the extra "pennies" click here#
