I don't know if this has been covered already, if so, sorry. I have a laptop and three exteranl hard disks. I currently have them hooked up with cable. I want to go wireless, I thought maybe the best option was to create a local network with the drives using a router. Is this the best way or am I going in completely the wrong direction. Also what do I need to make this network. Also I was going to use XP. Cheers for any help.

So does this Linksys network storage link then plug into the router. Also I have three drives and this only takes two. How do I increase the amount of drives. Thank you for you advice.

They are network drives of course, not USB?
Buy a switch, plug it into the router, plug the drives into the switch. click here
