Guest Account + Bullguard Internet Security

Please - has anyone else come across this problem?
I am the Administrator on our home pc, and needed to activate the Guest account so that a visitor could check their email. However, when she accessed this account, Bullguard failed to load, and Windows flagged up a message to say we were without virus and firewall protection. We couldn't respond to this message or open Bullguard to switch it on manually until I assumed Administrator status.
The Bullguard website answered my query about this saying:
"this is a default setting that we cannot alter. BullGuard does not start on a Guest account, so you will need to either change the proviledges (sic) of the accounts or use it without protection." !!!
But even a second account with Administrator privileges requires the user to click on the Bullguard desktop logo and wake it up.
Bullguard has proven to be a great package in all other respects, so we don't want to change it.
If anyone has remedied the same problem, we'd be glad to hear how you did it! - Many thanks.
