When using the Smart Panel "Copy" to photocopy text documents (black ink on white paper) the copy has a grey shade where the white should be. Is there any way to overcome this?Printer is Epson Stylus Photo 890. PC is XP Home.
I kept getting that when using the Twain.I discovered that if you increase the exposure in manual settings then it seems to eliminate the grey background.I only increase mine from zero to 2.
Make sure you set to scan in black and white setting NOT colour.
Thanks both. Problem solved.
