graphics problem

  phonix_monkey 11:35 06 Dec 2005

I have just installed a 128MB Radeon 9250. its a passive sink.

When I first put in it was fine, but now the games mess up. they run fine but, polygons of random nature just fly all over the place. ALso some application icons dont show up at all, but the writing does and the mouse has a funny little vertical line next to it!!!

what shall I do to fix this problem?

I uninstalled using the program, and the I installed the updated drivers, my windows has now become corrupt. And it comes up with a message: stop:0000007e Blue Screen? I cant access windows at all now, even in safe mode.

Is there any way I can delete graphics drivers from dos?? thanks in advance

Now you can get into safe mode, go to start, run, and type in sfc /scannow (space after sfc) you will need your XP disc. This may replace the required files you mention?
