Graphics on a laptop

Is it possible to upgrade the graphics in a laptop. Obviously since they would be onboard the old components could not be replaced but is there any sort of graphics card that can be plugged into either a USB or PCMCIA slot to provide some sort of external graphics card, and if so are these any good.

not that im aware of sorry.

upgrading the graphics chip and motherboard drivers may improve the performance slightly though.

you may be able to add more ram to the laptop which may help too then check in your bios and see if you can increase the shared memory to the graphics.use the wizard click here to see how much ram your system can take.
