graphics card temperature.

just put in a new x1650 pro graphics card for mid level gaming, but it won't tell me what the temperature is. there is a tool for it (ati control centre and another one ATItool) but neither of them are telling me.
is there something i need? or will i just not know what the temp is. I don't want to do anything to it i just don't want it to get too hot because i think it is.

Try everesthome; click here, expand 'computer' then 'sensor'. It's now unsuported but still works well.

I have the suspicion that the X1650 cards don't have a temperature sensor on board.

With moderate useage it will work OK. However the slightest bit of stress will cause it to crash but fixing some heatsinks to the RAM helps.
