graphics card required??/or driver

hi im running a time machine,800mg chip and nivida tnt 64 seem to be gettin a pause and sound gaps, whilst onlining on quake can you advise a cure apart from killing (time)lol thanx.

Whats it like when Ur not on line??


all the quake series should play ok on that spec.

Quake one is ok on 56k with some lag
Quake 2 is laggier
Quake 3 is a definate BB needer....

Best thing i can suggest is close all programs when going to play online, especially messanger's etc.

On second thought quake is quite a demanding game, it could also be that the graphics card is not quite up to it.
