Graphics card required

  SPARKY 12:15 03 Jan 2004

Please could someone offer me some sugestions as for a graphics card. I was going for the Radion 128MB 9200 VIVI, but most suppliers of my other items do not stock it.
The PC will be used for mainly photo editing, CD&DVD burning and general use, no gameing. The PC will be an AMD 2600, 512DDR, SATA HDD plus the usual.
Any suggestions would be appreciated,

Thanks Big Elf/Clayton, can you tell me what if any differences there is between brands eg. ATI, Gigabyte etc

I'm not really sure other than that they use the same chips. Maybe each manufacturer introduces different features or enhancements.

How much do you want to spend on your card?
Given your intended usage it doesn't need to be at the top end of the price range.
I use my Intel 2.4 for much the same useage as you list, and use Novatech Branded cards click here
They produce good quality kit at reasonable prices
