graphics card question

hi i have just got a new pc and the graphics card is a ati radeon xpress 1200 series. is this any good? and if not what would be the next best card to upgrade? i mostly watch dvds and play online pool thxs in advace

ATI 1200 series is integrated (on-board) graphics - far better to have PCI(e) or AGP card fitted, there are plenty to choose from depending on your budget. Personally I would go for PCI(e), I guess your motherboard, being new, would have PCI(e) slots.

Also in my link, notice the comment about laptop graphics, near the bottom - you have not said whether desktop or laptop? Laptop graphics cannot be upgraded.

x1200 pretty bad, i had it onboard with a toshiba laptop, ended up selling the laptop it was that bad

hi its a desk top computer i have about £60 to spend any recomendations i would like one with a dvi output or hdmi
