Graphics Card Problem

I have just had to reboot my Laptop Computer as soemthing went wrong. Now I have rebooted the whole thing I have had to re install all the drivers etc. Everything is now installed and working except my ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 Graphics Card. I have been on the ATI website and downloaded Catalyst but when it is installing it comes up a severe error message saying 'Setup did not find a driver compatible with your current hardware or operating system. Setup will now exit'. On Device Manager it says 'Video Controller (VGA Compatible). How can I solve this as I use my laptop for Karaoke and it is not giving me the option of having a second screen through the S-Video port anymore?

Laptop: Clevo/MESH D40EV
Operating System: Windows XP Pro
Graphics Card: ATI Mobility Radeon 9700

If this lap top is vista, you can't get Karaoke mode

I have already said that I am running Windows XP Pro and can't get Karaoke mode on what?

I am using WinAMP for my Karaoke.

Fully compatible OEM customised drivers for your laptop are only available from the laptop makers site because they are the only people who can customise the basic core drivers from ATI to suit their laptop cofiguration

Hence the error message you are getting
