Graphics Card Problem

I have just installed a gfx card (NVIDIA FX5200) with the latest drivers from the nvidia website.

Everything is working fine except for when I play video clips either from my HD or streamed from the net ie, BBC etc.

All the colours are very bright and bold and the whole picture looks generally over-exposed to the point where it is unwatchable. This is happening in both WMP and Realplayer!

Any ideas / pointers as to what may be occurring all greatfully received!

I think the answer lies with the nVidia Desktop Manager's overlay controls, which can be used to control the brightness, contrast, hue and saturation output for video and DVD playback.
