Right i want to buy a graphics card for my pc to play games. RIght now its a 128mb radeon 9500 pro/9700 if that means anything anyway a want to get a new one. What is the best for a price range of up to £70 mabe £100 depending on how much more you get for it. What is it you are looking for, is it the memory 256mb or 512mb or the core speed and how to you find the core speed. Cheers

an idea as to power/performance
worry less about the specific numbers than how the card will perform with your system/preferred game type
As an NVidia user, 6600GT for about £85 has benefited my Athlon XP system immensely.

Agree with brundle, the best you can get AGP for about your price would be either a 6600GT or something like this click here the 7600GS which is meant to be a little bit faster.

I got a EVGA 7800GT off E-Bay for £110, excellent card can cope with all top end games at the minute. I bought it bout 4 months ago, u could maybe get a 7800GTX off Ebay now for the same price. Only question is, do u use and like Ebay?
