I always thought COMPACTFLASH was a memory card!!!! set me strait if I am wrong

  woodchip 19:56 10 Nov 2008

If I am right then try loading TomTom to the COMPACTFLASH card then start TomTom with card in it

PPS thats how I did it on my ACER PDA using a SD card

So what does it do? plug into the memory card slot?

I would say you have to install it to the GPS not PDA

Also where does the antenna plug in

"WHEN I GO ONTO CONFIGURE AND GO ONTO OTHER NMEA GPS AND GPS BAUD RATE 4800 THEN SELECT CF_CARD GE"

The settings you mentioned above should work I think. It will take quite a while to find a signal the first time.

Also it may not work inside a building (the one I had wouldn't), you need to be outside in the open.
