Lately when I open IE (I have Google as my home page) I crash. It doesnt happen every time but mostly. I have XP and I use IE.

Here's part of the message:

AppName: iexplore.exe

There has been an issue about IE crashing since the latest updates from Microsoft. There is a fix ( if that is what is causing it) but it does involve a Registry alteration which, since you are here in AB, you may not feel confident about.

I have read that MS have issued a further patch and it is available for download.

Try first going to the MS update site and see if it is offered to you. Always a good thing to check under "custom" update for the full range of options.

Thanks anskyber.

I went to MS update site and downloaded an update I'd missed. Will see if problem persists over the next day or two.

Thanks guys....i tried some of your suggestions and the problem has gone away. I think it was probably the MS update that did the trick.
