Google to search UK only

It is if you use google.co.uk, rather than google.com

I've got the one that came with IE7.

hi if you want it as your homepage
type click here into address bar,once page is up go into tools options select use current page as your homepage

To change the embedded search to google uk follow these instructions Graham.
Go to tools, then internet options, then under search press settings.
Once you get to a list of your search engines, click on the blue link below, i think it says Find more providers.
Then in the yellow box on the right, follow the instructions.

Oh, i forgot. Once you've done all that,go back in to search settings and set your new link to the default provider and restart Explorer.

No matter how many times I enter google.com it always directs me to google.co.uk

I suspect it's tied up with the advertising side, but it does have the general and UK search choices.
