GOOGLE EARTH will no longer work

  johnpalmer 10:52 15 Jan 2011

I have been using Google Earth for years, but suddenly I get a grey window message when I start it.

The message reads

"Google Earth could not contact the authentication server to activate your session. The application will continue to operate but will only display data available locally (in cache).

For information about how to resolve the problem, would you like to run a diagnostic test? This test attemps to detect settings on your computer that might prevent Google Earth from functioning properly."

I have tried the diagnostic test, but nothing is resolved.

I have uninstalled and re-installed, but still get the same problem. Very annoying !!!.

I use Google Earth (beta) on Windows XP.

Can anybody help me to resolve this problem.

There is probably a problem with their server. Just try again later.
