Google Earth

I recently installed Google Earth. Since then Kaspersky Internet Security has raised two alarms about an hour after boot-up. The first says:

GOOGLEEARTH.MSI is trying to shut down the operating system or obtain shutdown privileges.
Application origin: Started Google installer>Googleearth-win-bundle-5.2.0.5920.exe>setup launcher

The second is similar but ...trying to set debug privileges.

What's all that about? I'm disallowing both until someone convinces me that they are benign.

Did you download it from Google's website?

If so, there is no risk because Google actually checks it first.

Allow and report here what happens.

Give us a clue please. Where???

It was from their site but that doesn't mean that it won't misbehave. It's also possible that Kaspersky is misinterpreting something. I'm not allowing anything until I'm sure that it's OK, and I fail to see why an application would want to shut-down the OS. GE is working so I'm going to leave things as they are.
