Any one know how to get rid of the annoying blue bar which google puts up asking if you want to make google the default search provider...?

As google already is the default search engine it's a pain.

Win 7 IE11 .

I like IE so I wont be changing to a different web browser.

Thanks Al

Some ideas from Google here

Thanks for the reply. Those posts seem to be about google as the home page. I don't use google as my home page just for searching. Al

It should be the same procedure. You are looking at a web page whether it is your home page or not.

Have you tried saying yes when asked?

If it is already your default search provider it could not make any difference to you but may just be enough to stop google asking again.
