Hello guys and girls, I'm after a new webcam. I have a budget of £30 maximum.

I just want a good quality image, a microphone would be nice.

This looks ideal?

The D-Link NetEasy 350 Pro is about the same price from click here, is equivalent to webcams costing three or four times as much and has a CCD rather than CMOS sensor.

I take it the trust isn't too good? Despite the specs looking awesome?

Have you used those ones from ebay?

I have recently managed to track down a new/boxed D-Limk Net Easy 350 Pro (recommended above) but am experiencing much difficulty installing it. I regretfully failed to heed the warnings given on my screen, about not installing an "Unsigned Driver", and have subsequently been trying to use dedicated XP drivers, but to no effect. I am still able to use my old Philips webcam which faithfully revives as soon as I plug in its USB plug!
Do I take it that both Stuartli and Crossbow 7 are using their webcams successfully on XP?
