I was just researching the prices of computers as i think i will be upgrading from my 7 year old gateway soon. I came across a refurbished HP details here: hereclick here

There are two versions i saw one is the same as the above except it has 1gb less ram and only 1 pci slot but it has a better 8600gts card - same price. Just wondering if these are good deals (they don't include monitors) and which of the two would be better. Also i'm wondering if getting a refurbished pc from pc world will be a problem, i have dealt with them before i got a vaio laptop 4 years ago and its working fine up until now (ignoring the fact its slowed down about 50%).Thanks.

I would not get a refubished pc, there are many sites where you can configure your own pc to suit your budget and needs.

for £599 you could do a lot better than a second hand machine.

My machine cost £593 new from Dell and it beats the spec on that one. Take a look at Dell's XPS 420 and there's also a 10% off voucher you can use to gain further discount.
