please can anyone suggest a "good cheap printer" if there is such a thing. Will be used mainly for documents.Would like to be able to buy compatable ink,and have a small footprint. Was thinking on the lines of Canon ip1600,anyone got one of these or know of a better buy.

Hi, I use Epson, but the printer you named will certainly do what you want. For ink cartridges try click here

postie24 The prices on the link you gave are excellent unfortunately all my efforts to buy from the site have failed. When I put an item into the basket and go to checkout there is nothing there any ideas as you have probably used it

tonyq, if you purchase either a Cannon or an Epson printer try click here for compatabile inks I haven't tried them yet myself put the prices are amazing.

Have you tried click here for ink?
Good prices and good delivery. They're well recommended by several people on this forum.

Samsung ML 1610 was available recently for about £40 from Comet and PCW. Dont know if the offers are still on, check.

When I choose my items and go to checkout it shows the coloured box with my items and the price when I click checkout it goes to window with the fields or my items but nothing in them must be something wrong with my browser
