It's one of many pyramid schemes; this one is based in Ireland but could be anywhere. Simply put, the later you join, the more others who have to join before you get your item.

if you look at the link for the Sony VAIO K23, it requires another 27 to join before whoever is at the top to get there laptop and you have to pay $40 to get your signal booster that amounts to $1080 and with an item like that for each FREE laptop must have a release number of 50/60 (new members signing up) which amounts to $2000/$2400. good if your the one running the scheme.
