ghost - Drive Assignment Problems

  woofer99 09:15 09 Apr 2005

Ghosted my C: drive to a new drive D:, Removed the old C: drive, rebooted fine but some apps won't work because the Drive shows up as D: and apps are expecting to run from C:. Have checked the drive jumper settings etc.and all are ok. Checked with Fdisk - drive shows up as C: - I'm confused - any ideas ?

In Disk Management change Drive D to Drive C, to do this open Control Panel.

If you are stuck look up how you do this in Help under 'Assign, change, or remove a drive letter'.

I did this some years ago, but cannot remember exactly how it is done, but hopefully this should put you on the right track.

If you still have problems, then I suggest you post this subject in the Helproom Forum rather than where your post is now.
